1. Operator and scope
“SeaRoute”, “we” and “us” refer to the operator of the SeaRoute website. The business location provided for this website is Cyprus. Contact: team@searoute.io. The registered legal entity and its full establishment address have not yet been confirmed in this draft.
These proposed terms concern browsing and using this website. A separately executed agreement governs any services or transaction it expressly covers. Visiting this website alone does not create a vessel fixture, agency appointment, payment obligation or contract of carriage.
2. What this website provides
This website introduces SeaRoute’s proposed digital chartering marketplace, workflow and commercial model. It does not currently accept cargo listings or vessel offers, create customer accounts, conclude agreements, receive freight payments or issue electronic bills of lading.
The displayed contact form does not submit enquiries. The Download SeaRoute control does not currently provide a file or access to an application. You may contact the team using the email address shown above.
The website is intended primarily for professionals evaluating SeaRoute. No material on it is a substitute for independent maritime, legal, tax, financial, sanctions or navigational advice.
3. Permitted use
You may browse the website and use its information to evaluate SeaRoute for legitimate personal or business purposes. When contacting us for an organisation, provide accurate information and act within your authority.
You must not misuse the website, introduce malicious code, attempt unauthorised access, evade access restrictions, impersonate another person, infringe others’ rights, or overload the service through abusive automated requests. These restrictions do not remove rights that applicable law makes mandatory.
Please report a suspected security issue privately to team@searoute.io. Do not access, disclose or alter another person’s data while reporting it.
4. Intellectual property
SeaRoute’s branding and original website materials are protected by the rights of their respective owners. You may retain reasonable copies for internal evaluation, with ownership notices intact. Broader republication, commercial exploitation or use of SeaRoute branding requires permission unless the law allows it.
Third-party names and materials remain the property of their owners. Open-source components retain their applicable licence terms. Nothing here overrides those licences or implies an endorsement by a named provider.
5. Information and pricing
Descriptions, illustrations and workflow examples are general information. They are not a binding offer, a guarantee of vessel availability, a guaranteed freight rate or savings commitment, or confirmation that a particular feature or integration is available to you.
Published figures describe the commercial model. They do not establish a billing period, commission base, tax treatment or complete charging arrangement. Those details, the reference-cost methodology and any applicable charges must be expressly agreed before a paid service begins. No fee is incurred by viewing this website.
We aim to keep information useful and accurate, but details may change. Confirm material commercial or operational information directly with SeaRoute before relying on it.
6. Separate marketplace agreements
Any future marketplace participation must be covered by suitable onboarding and contractual terms identifying the parties, eligibility requirements, fees and responsibilities. Vessel suitability, cargo accuracy, voyage obligations, insurance, compliance and dispute procedures must be allocated in the relevant agreements.
References to freight reservation, an EMI partner, electronic signatures, blockchain records, VesselFinder or electronic bills of lading describe the proposed workflow. They do not establish an account with a payment provider, appoint SeaRoute as a carrier or broker, or guarantee the legal recognition of an electronic document in every jurisdiction.
Payment handling, document issuance and the legal effect of any fixture must be confirmed in the applicable service and voyage agreements before a transaction proceeds.
7. Privacy, communications and links
The Privacy Policy describes the current website and the proposed handling of related enquiries. Reading that notice is not consent to optional tracking or marketing.
Send only the information necessary for your enquiry. Do not email credentials, payment-card details, identity documents, confidential cargo records or sensitive personal information unless we have agreed an appropriate channel.
External websites are governed by their own terms and privacy notices. A link or reference does not make SeaRoute responsible for a third party’s operations or imply a partnership.
8. Responsibility and limitations
The website is provided for general information. To the extent permitted by applicable law, SeaRoute does not promise uninterrupted availability, error-free content or suitability for a particular commercial decision.
To that same extent, SeaRoute excludes liability for indirect or consequential business losses arising solely from use of this informational website, including lost opportunities, anticipated savings or profits. This is not a limitation of the obligations expressly accepted in a separate signed agreement.
Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted. Mandatory consumer and data-protection rights remain unaffected, as does liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or death or personal injury where the law prevents exclusion. No blanket waiver of statutory rights is intended.
9. Availability and changes
We may correct, update or temporarily suspend the website for maintenance, security or legal reasons. Access restrictions should be proportionate to the issue concerned.
A revised version will carry an updated date. Changes to website terms do not retrospectively rewrite an existing signed agreement or remove accrued rights. Where a material change requires notice or agreement under applicable law, that requirement remains in place.
If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions apply only to the extent they can operate lawfully and independently. A delay in exercising a right does not, by itself, waive it.
10. Law, disputes and contact
The proposed governing law for these website terms is the law of the Republic of Cyprus, with non-exclusive jurisdiction of its competent courts. This does not override mandatory protections or court-access rights available under applicable law, including those of a consumer in their country of residence.
Questions or concerns may be sent to team@searoute.io. We encourage direct discussion, but contacting SeaRoute first is not a condition for exercising a statutory right or approaching a competent authority.
